RECYCLITERATURE

An open art workshop for adults and children aged four and up where we will breathe new life into discarded printed materials

Come play and create at FALL. Some books and publications are terribly neglected in today’s world, and no one picks them up and stuffs them into their backpacks anymore. The workshop will focus on collage – the combination of text and photographic reproductions – and it will let us breathe new life into discarded printed materials. By combining originally unrelated and fragmentary texts and images, we will create new, bizarre, humorous, and unexpected scenes and situations. The workshop is based on an original idea by screenwriter Vojtěch Mašek and will be led by Viktória Krtička Černegová.

Viktória Krtička Černegová studied illustration at the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She completed an internship in the art therapy workshops of the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital, a year-long GLEN global education programme, and took part in the critical pedagogical project FUTUROPOLIS. She is a firm believer in the power of radical imagination and creation as a tool for self-discovery, and she knows that there is an artist inside each of us.

Family workshop is free of charge.
