A two-day painting workshop with painter Adam Štech, whose latest paintings can currently be seen in the exhibition houellebecq! at DOX.

The path from a selfie on our phone to a painterly self-portrait can be interesting. How do we see ourselves, how do we want to be seen, and how do others see us? The creative journey from a realistic photographic portrait to the artistic conception of one’s own face will be guided by painter Adam Štech, who has repeatedly returned to the self-portrait in his work in a quite specific way. We will in fact see this in his current exhibition at DOX.

Selfies must be sent in advance, but everything needed to create a painterly self-portrait will be prepared on site. Designed for experienced and novice painters aged 12 and up.
